A German woman, Sarah Vilard has disclosed how she faked an elaborate wedding to get back at her ex-boyfriend.

Sarah, 24, who lives in Frankfurt, Germany, took to her TikTok handle to share her how she came up with an inventive way of faking a wedding ceremony to take revenge on her ex-boyfriend in 2019.

Sarah who works as an investor and studies business management, broke up with her boyfriend (whose name is unknown) in 2019. However, in a desperate attempt to get back at her ex-boyfriend, she staged an elaborate wedding ceremony three months after they broke up.

She hired an actor who pretended to be her groom, rented the luxurious Villa Kennedy at Frankfurt and invited her family members as well as friends to make the staged wedding ceremony look real. She stated that she also hired a photographer who captured the whole ceremony and subsequently posted the pictures to her Instagram handle, where she was certain her ex would see.

Sarah further revealed that her ex-boyfriend saw the pics and as expected was furious at the news of her so-called wedding.

“He found out through Instagram and texted me the next day and freaked out because he thought I was cheating on him while we were together,” Sarah said.

“That, of course, wasn’t the case. But he came to my house and wanted to talk to me afterward. I wasn’t interested,” she added.

Satisfied with the reaction of her ex, Sarah went ahead to block him from her social media accounts.

She said: ‘I blocked him everywhere and set my profile to private and removed the pictures.

‘Yes, I am single now and super happy about it. I’m happy to be able to focus on myself.’

However, this caught the attention of many TikTok users as they wondered why she went through all that to get back at her ex.

The video which contained the revealed of Sarah has gotten over 534,000 likes with 4607 comments as of the time of filing this report.

Reacting to the reactions, Sarah stated that many people thought she was crazy however, she did what made her happy,  adding that she had fun while planning and executing the staged wedding.

She added: ‘I think people think I’m crazy.

‘But overall, I’ve had mostly good reactions and over 5,000 people following me.

‘I had fun planning this little project with my friends.’
