Following the explosive interview between Cristiano Ronaldo and Piers Morgan, in which the Portuguese superstar launched into an extraordinary rant, Manchester United fans have taken to social media to criticize the player.

Ronaldo took the internet by storm after clips of his “tell-all” interview with television personality Piers Morgan went viral.

In the viral video, Ronaldo accused the coach and members of the club’s management of betrayal.

He also mentioned that some individuals want him to leave the club from the previous year as he took aim at several club members during the interview.

Ronaldo stressed that he felt betrayed by a number of individuals at Old Trafford.

His words read in part: ‘Honestly, I shouldn’t say that, I don’t know, but listen I don’t care, I’m always… People should listen to the truth.” He said in the explosive conversation.

“Yes, I feel betrayed and I felt that some people don’t want me here, not only here but last year too.” Ronaldo had looked to leave over the summer, but ended up staying after a move failed to present itself.

The Portuguese superstar also boldly declared he has no respect for Erik ten Hag because “he doesn’t show respect for me.”

The interview has stirred reactions on social media and fans are of the opinion that the world star player was outrightly ‘rude’.

@JOKISENTERPRISI

Never compare a golden utensil to a house its being kept in!!!

Never will a player ever be bigger or even equal to a club even though its a 3rd world club

If he’s bigger than the club let him stop receiving club’s little salary

@PSDartis

So your telling me Ronaldo:

-Ended Juventus’ 9 year winning streak 💀

-Got Ole sacked 😳

-Got United Europa 😂

-Made the club bankrupt with his wage demands 🤑
