Don Jazzy has reacted on the rape allegation against former business partner D’banj.

The Mavin Recod boss expressed sadness over the case and called on the police to do a thorough investigation on the matter.

According to him, one of the two parties involved is a victim and the truth will always prevail.

In a recent Twitter thread, the music boss expressed that the truth would always come out no matter how long a lie lasts.

According to him, one of them (between D’banj and his accuser, Seyitan) is the victim and that the law will protect them.

The rape allegations against singer, D’banj has caused quite a buzz on social media and now his former business partner and Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, has reacted to what has become a controversy online.

Don Jazzy made it clear where he stood on the issue of rape and injustices against women as he urged victims to speak out and report to the appropriate authorities.

Don Jazzy added that it was also important to give the accused an ‘opportunity to set the facts straight’.

He expressed sadness over the issue and admitted that he was not competent to investigate the issue. He however called on the police to carry out a proper investigation on the matter.

Meanwhile, Dbanj is currently trending on micro blogging platform, Twitter, following recent allegations that Seyitan Babatayo, a lady who accused him of sexual abuse, was detained by the police.

Many took to the micro blogging platform to call out the singer and suggest that the move only makes him look guilty and appear as if he is trying to silence and intimidate his accuser.

Earlier on, popular investigative journalist, Kiki Mordi, had called the attention of the public claiming that Seyitan was taken into detention on Tuesday, June 16, and restricted from getting access to her lawyers, family members and friends.
