Some Nigerians still stormed the streets to continue the #EndBadGovernance protests despite President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s plea for the protest to be called off.

The New Diplomat’s checks reveal that a small group of #EndBadGovernance protesters gathered around the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos State on Sunday.

The Protesters chanted solidarity songs, saying the President had not addressed the core issues they raised.

Also, a large number of protesters gathered at the Agho junction on Ekenhuan road, Benin City, praying to God for intervention in the crises and issues plaguingthe nation at the moment.

It would be recalled that Tinubu, had in a broadcast earlier on Sunday, urged the youths to suspend the #EndBadGovernance protests and embrace dialogue.

He assured them that his administration is focused on good governance despite the socio-economic challenges confronting Africa’s most populous nation.

He said the removal of subsidy on petrol was a painful but necessary decision he took for meaning economic development and growth.
