The Acting Executive Director of Projects in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr. (Dr.) Samuel Adjogbe, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari over his victory at the presidential polls which took place on February 23, 2019 just as he said he was not surprised because the President’s performances in the first tenure was monumental.

Adjogbe who spoke to journalists shortly after casting his vote at his polling unit in Evwreni, Ughelli North LGA on the March 9, Guber/House of Assembly election, said he foresaw the President’s victory coming, adding that it was a product of his excellent performance.

He said: “I was not surprised that Buhari would win the presidential election because I know that Nigerians appreciate the unprecedented performance of Mr. President in his first tenure and so Nigerians had no difficulty in casting their votes for him to return for a second tenure.

“Here in Evwreni, the handiwork of President Buhari through the instrumentality of the NDDC is everywhere for people to see. Is it roads, is it drainages, they are everywhere.

“And it is not limited to Evwreni. I can tell for certain that the federal government through NDDC have constructed and fixed more roads in Delta State than the so-called governor who prides himself as roadmaster.

“So, I was not surprised that President Buhari would win. And let me tell you this so that you can believe me. Some people came to me to bring money to give to the other party so that I can spread my legs. I told them I don’t have such money. If I have money I would use it to support my party, I would use it to support President Buhari. And when President Buhari won, they said to me that I am a prophet.”

Adjogbe commended Mr. President for the resounding victory just as he thanked Nigerians for their massive support for President Buhari and the APC.

The NDDC henchman assured Nigerians that the second tenure of President Buhari administration will not only take the country to the next level, but it will positively touch the lives of every Nigerians across board.

It would be recalled that since the inauguration of the NDDC board by Mr. President and the current reappointment of Engr. Adjogbe as the acting Executive director of Projects to the Commission, Delta State and, indeed, the entire Niger Delta, have witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development in terms of roads, schools, provision of water supply, manpower development, etc.
