President Muhammadu Buhari, has postponed his medical follow-up trip to United Kingdom initially scheduled for Friday.

This was announced in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina.

The terse statement reads, “The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed.”

According to the statement, a new date will be announced in due course.

The New Diplomat had reported that the President had scheduled a medical follow-up trip to London for Friday.

The President had jetted out on March 30, 2021 for a “routine medical check-up” in London, UK.
