Broom wielding supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC at the weekend, besieged the El-Kanemi stadium in Maiduguri, to welcome their Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was on a campaign tour to Bornu state.

The APC Presidential Candidate who was visibly overwhelmed by the mammoth crowd, was clouded by his vice, Senator Kashim Shettima, Bornu state Governor, Professor Umara Babagana Zulum who is seeking second term, the Party’s national Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and host of others too numerous to mention.

On the podium, Tinubu assured the people of Bornu that his administration, upon assumption of office would ensure better life again for Nigerians as he has a well marshall plans to tackle the hydra headed problem of insecurity in the North East that has virtually crippled the economy of the region.

He said the arable land in Bornu would allow his administration to convert the state into an Agro Allied industrial estate as farmers would return to their farmlands without the incessant and unwarranted harassment by unknown herders.

Also, the state Governor, Zulum who was the first to speak at the mega rally, urged the teeming people of the state to vote APC at the centre.

The Governor who spoke in the native language of the people disclosed that a vote for the APC at the centre, would complement his development strides in the state.

The APC national Chairman who also spoke in vernacular, painstakenly explained to the people the inherent benefits ahead of them if voted for the APC.

Also Senator Shettima thanked the people for their support and enjoined them to vote solely for the APC as it remains the only party that would protect their interest.
Earlier, the Tinubu campaign train, paid a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Bornu, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garba.
