The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar led a train of party’s supporters to Yola, his native home, to seek the votes of his people in this Saturday election.
Atiku who accompanied by his vice, outing Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal and host Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, said the PDP is on rescue mission.
The Presidential Candidate said his administration would engage exclusively in the business of rebuilding the beleaguered nation that is currently riddled with glaring poverty in the midst of abundance, insecurity and unemployment.
He the people of Adamawa state not to hesitate to cast their votes for the PDP.
Also, his Vice, Governor Okowa who implored the people of the state to peruse the agenda of all the political parties angling to rule Nigeria, said the PDP’s agenda is more apt that captures the people’s yearnings at heart, adding that that was why it’s referred to as the people’s party.
He stated that the current Governor of Adamawa has already demonstrated that by the massive development of infrastructure in the state.
The Delta Governor urged the people to cast their votes for the PDP in order to truly reap the dividends of democracy.
Earlier, the Sokoto State Governor who spoke in the native language of the people, solicited for votes from the people of the state.
He assured the PDP supporters of massive development in the state in particular and Nigeria at large.
Highlights of the mega rally were some persons who decamped to the PDP.
