The United States Secret Service has revealed the Suspect behind a shooting incident involving former president Donald Trump.

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee was involved in another shooting incident after several shots were fired at one of his golf courses in Florida, US.

Giving updates on the incident, the Secret Service revealed that a man identified as Ryan Wesley Routh was allegedly behind the attack.

Routh was said to have been allegedly aiming an AK-47 at Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course while concealed in shrubbery about 400 yards to 500 yards away from the politician when he was spotted by Secret Service agents and fled the scene, dropping his weapon and fleeing in an SUV.

He was later stopped by police and taken into custody in a neighbouring county, according to local sheriff Ric Bradshaw.

Authorities have since found two backpacks hanging on a fence and a GoPro camera at the scene.

The New Diplomat reports that this incident comes two months after Trump was shot in the ear by a sniper at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
