The Police have confirmed the arrest of Meshack Sinuphro, the man who allegedly absconded with a GLB Sports Utility (SUV) Mercedes-Benz valued at N55 million.

The Police in a statement issued by the Delta State Public Relations Officers, DSP Bright Edafe, on Thursday, said the suspect was arrested in Benin and would be transferred to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

According to him, “The suspect, Meshack Sinuphro who allegedly stole the benz at Abuja while pretending to be a buyer, has been arrested by the Command Decoy squad today in Benin city.

“The suspect will be transferred to FCT command soonest. Always report crimes to the police, and we will always deliver.”

Earlier Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP, Wale Abbas has announced the recovery of the vehicle in a Bush along Oteri road in Ughelli North Local Government of Delta State.
