President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan and Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on Saturday joined other party members to participate in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership registration & revalidation exercise.

Senator Lawan revalidated his membership at Yobe North Senatorial District on Saturday.

Similarly, Gbajabiamila partook in the exercise at his polling unit in Surulere, Lagos State.

Gbajabiamila said, “I revalidated my membership of the APC today in the presence of my Ward Chairman, Ward G2, Surulere Local Government, Lagos, Mr. Afeez Odunewu at my polling unit in Surulere 1 Federal Constituency, Lagos.”

“The exercise was supervised by the APC National Registration and Validation Committee led by Senator Lawan Shuaibu, APC Lagos State Registration team led by Dr. Bashir Godiya and Lagos State APC Caretaker Chairman, Alh. Tunde Balogun and all party leaders in Surulere Local Govt.” He added.

The APC kickstarted its membership registration and revalidation exercise nationwide on 25th January, 2021.

Party leaders who had revalidated their membership include: President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila among others.
