Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, on Friday, paid a working visit to the spectacular Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy & Development (SCDDD) founded by a foremost international Affairs Scholar-diplomat, and immediate past Chief of Staff to former president Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari.
Gambari, who had variously held the esteemed positions of Nigeria’s foreign Affairs Minister, Nigeria’s permanent representative to the United Nations from 1990 to 1999, and served as United Nations Under Secretary General (Political Affairs) at the UN Headquarters, New York, former Joint Special Representative of the United Nations and the African Union for Darfur, chair of the UN Committee Against Apartheid, and lead chair of the global body’s committee on peacekeeping operations, amongst other past roles, guided Governor Sule on a tour inside the state-of-the-art office nestled in the heart of Abuja.
