The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai commissioned many developmental projects in 3 Division Nigerian Army Area of Responsibility. The projects include the newly constructed Main Entrance Gate of the Headquarters 3 Division Jos, Soldiers Club and various Water projects in the Cantonment.

The COAS also commissioned renovated Senior Non-Commissioned Officers living accommodations and layed the foundation for construction of the Rhino Fire Station for the barracks community amongst others. He also addressed the officers and soldiers of the formation at the 82 Battalion Drill Square.

The Chief of Army Staff was represented by Major General EB Kabuk, Chief of Logistics (Army), who was accompanied by the Commander, Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major General Atologbe, Commander, Nigerian Army Armoured Corps, Major General JO Akomolafe, Commander, 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General TO Olowomeye, the Director Army Public Relations, Briagdier General SK Usman and the Nigerian Army Liaison Officer to the Multinational Joint Task Force, Colonel WD Nasir.

Present at the occasion were The various Commanders and Staff Officers at the Division’s Headquarters, the representative of Plateau State Water Board and heads of Security and paramilitary agencies in Plateau State, Soldiers and their families who visibly expressed happiness on these developmental projects especially the three water projects, renovations of their living accommodations and health facilities.
