Afrobeat legend Innocent Ujah Idibia, widely known as 2Baba or 2Face, has officially married Natasha Osawaru, an Edo State House of Assembly member, in a private traditional wedding held in Abuja on July 25, 2025.
The ceremony, attended by close family members and friends, including 2Baba’s mother, has sparked widespread buzz across social media.
The event, steeped in tradition, showcased 2Baba in a white embroidered native shirt and wrapper, accessorized with coral bead necklaces, a beaded staff, and sleek sunglasses.
On the other hand, Osawaru shone in a radiant red off-shoulder gown, crowned with an elaborate Edo okuku coral headpiece, symbolizing royalty.
This union follows 2Baba’s public announcement in January 2025 of his separation from actress Annie Macaulay Idibia, his wife of nearly 12 years, with whom he shares two daughters.
By February, 2Baba confirmed his relationship with Osawaru, proposing to her publicly and addressing rumors by clarifying that she was not involved in his previous marital issues.
The New Diplomat reports that Osawaru, born November 14, 1993, in Edo State, is a distinguished lawmaker representing Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Deputy Majority Leader, she holds a Law degree from Igbinedion University and a Master’s in Film Production from Full Sail University, Florida.
