The People’s Democratic Party, PDP guber primary is ongoing in Ondo as the party set out to elect its flagbearer for the October election in the state.
The New Diplomat gathered voting has commenced as delegates file out at the main auditorium of the International Event Centre, Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Ondo state Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, is among the 8 aspirants seeking the party’s ticket.
Also, Eyitayo Jegede, Boluwaji Kunlere, Eddy Olafeso, Ben Okunomo, Bode Ayorinde, Godday Erewa and Sola Ebiseeni are all on the ballot.
The winner will be facing the incumbent governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who had on Monday emerged as All Progressives Congress candidate.
