Phoenix Athletics Sports Club Ado-Ekiti Nigeria and SGFC Eagles Maryland – USA  have announced a strategic and comprehensive partnership, the first of its kind, that will offer players a pathway to success in Football both in Nigeria and the United States.

The Professionally run football club with emphasis on youth football club in Nigeria and professional soccer club based in Maryland USA that competes in American Soccer League following 2017 ASL expansion will come together to exchange talent, allowing young players to experience different coaching styles, Exchange of Knowledge and Ideas and Capacity building to enhance personal development.

The General Manager of SGFC Eagles, Paul Akinrimisi, describes the partnership as one that would be mutually beneficial to both clubs. Adding that the management of his team are delighted to go into partnership with Phoenix ASC, a team he calls, a ”farm filled with incredible young soccer talents.”
