The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, yesterday, pounds the streets in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on foot in the company of campaign train.

From one end of the street to another Peter Obi walked through the streets majestically as party faithful, supporters and admirers alike chorus Obi ! Obi ! Obi ! to herald his coming just as he waved with a broad smile in appreciation to the mammoth crownd.

Renowned social crusader, Professor Patrick Utomi one of his great supporters dared other Presidential Aspirants to attempt the feat if they want to test their popularity with voters in Rivers state.

At the campaign venue, the national stadium where a huge crowd of Rivers state indigenes, party loyalists and admirers alike were already positioned awaiting his arrival.

The LP presidential flag bearer promised to tackled poverty in the land through job creation, adding that the youth and women would be the focus of his primary agenda.

Peter Obi who was intermittently interrupted with the chorusing of his name, urged the people to record his electoral promises to them, adding that after reasonable time in the life of his administration, he reneged on his promises, they would be able to hold him accountable.

Peter Obi who spoke to the people in the conventional special English otherwise known as pidgin, said: ” please try record my Promises To you today, so if I failed to deliver probably because one deity placed at the Aso Rock villa, you can easily play back my statements and me to account.*

He, however, implored the crowd to vote en mass for the Labour Party in order to allow for the change they are craving for
