Innocent Idibia’s baby mama, Pero Adeniyi has slammed a sum of N500m on singer’s wife Annie Idibia, over alleged defamation and libelous online publication.
Recall Annie took to Instagram to call out her husband for alleged infidelity involving Adeniyi in September 2.
Her posts led to a reply from theĀ brother which further broke into a war of words between Annieās family, and her in-laws on social media.
However, Annie has decided to make-up with her husband’s in-laws as she apologised yesterday November 12, in a lengthy birthday post on her Instagram page.
Referring to Annieās post, Pero, via her lawyers, issued a letter to Annie, demanding for public apology and the sum of N500m for causing their client personal injury, reputational damage and other claims.
Pero claimed that she and 2baba have nothing but a ācivil parental relationshipā because they share three children together.
The claims are included in a letter signed by Peroās lawyers, Okonjo, Odiawa, and Ebie Associates titled āRe: Malicious and Libelous Online Publication against Pero Adeniyiā.
āIt is our instruction to demand that you immediately and completely retract all your allegations by the same measure with which they were published and publicly tender your unreserved apology to our client, not later than 72 hours from your receipt of this letter,ā the letter partly read.
āAdditionally, our client demands compensation in the sum of N500,000,000.00 (Five Hundred Million Naira) for personal injury, reputational damage, embarrassment, shame and emotional distress suffered as a result of your malicious, libellous and defamatory publications against her, within the same period stipulated above.
āTake notice that if you do not comply with our clientās demands as stated above, we will have no other option but to bring the full weight of the law to bear upon youĀ further recourse to you.ā
