Disturbed by its abysmal performance at the just concluded 2023 general elections, the group affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party, otherwise known as the PDP Young Democrats, has called for the immediate review of the party’s performance in the 2023 general election across the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The group implored the party’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, to as a matter of expediency convene, a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting to resolve outstanding issues affecting the party.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the spokesperson for the group, Alaibi Joseph, also demanded the immediate resignation of the PDP National Secretary, Sen Samuel Anyanwu, who, earlier in the week emerged as the party’s governorship candidate in Imo State.

It would be recalled that the PDP has been enmeshed in series of internal crisis that eventually led to the suspension of its National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu.
