As the nation’s democratic space is preoccupied with brickbats and political horse trading, the the Delta state All Progressive Congress,(APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has deemed expedient to alert unsuspecting voters that the PDP Governorship candidate, Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori is scam

The Deputy Senate President who made this assertion at his on going ward to ward campaign in Aboh, Ndokwa East council, described Oborevwori as decoy by the incumbent state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa to serve a third term.

He warned that a vote for Sheriff Oborevwori is foolish step to perpetuate Okowa’s reign as Governor of Delta state

The APC Guber Aspirant queried the rational behind Governor Okowa’s decision to foist the incumbent Speaker on the people of Delta.

He stated that by Governor Okowa’s undemocratic action, his party, the PDP is already divided in the state, adding that Okowa’s betrayal disposition has thrown the PDP into disarray both at the state and national levels.

This, Omo-Agege said, justified his earlier warning that portrayed Governor Okowa as a man who cannot be trusted, adding that the Delta state Governor remains the protagonist in the current political upheavals being experienced by his party.

The APC flag bearer stated that former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo publicly accused of betrayal, for trading away the slot of the president allotted to the South South for the position of the vice president, adding that his fellow PDP compatriot, Rivers state Governor, Nysom Wike in different fora, reiterated Okowa’s high level betrayal.

Omo-Agege said available reports disclosed that Governor Okowa betrayed the Anioma people who assured to include in his government, stating that that explains why the Asaba government house has become an extension of Ika peoples’ home.

While criticizing Governor Okowa for failing run an all inclusive government that is required in a multi ethnic state like Delta, the Deputy Senate President disclosed that virtually all officers working in his cabinet are all stooges and true representatives of their people.

Against this backdrop, he called on the people Delta state to boot out the serial betrayal, Governor Okowa and his cabinet of stooges with their votes in order to allow for true representation of the people and wholistic development in facet of human endeavours.
