Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Nigeria, Pastor Tunde Bakare, on Thursday, joined the long list of individuals aspiring for the office of the President of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2023 General elections.

The revered pastor made this announcement when he purchased the N100m nomination and expression of interests form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He joined the growing list of aspirants jostling for the ticket of the APC which holds its primaries on May 30, 2022.

The New Diplomat reports that Bakare will contest with one of the National Leaders of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State; Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State; former governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole; Barnabas Gemade, former speaker Yakubu Dogara; Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio; Tein Jack- Rich and Adamu Garba, who have all declared to contest for presidency under the platform of the APC.
