The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ademola Adeleke has cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial election of Osun state.

He cast his vote at the polling unit 009, Ward 02 located in Abogunde, Ede North Local Government Area (LGA) at 9am.

He is the first of the 15 total candidates to vote in the ongoing gubernatorial election.

Speaking to reporters after casting his vote, the PDP governorship candidate commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its efforts.

According to him, everything was going well, saying that has been the situation from the information he got from other voting areas.

Meanwhile, there has been a large turnout of voters in many parts of the state.
