Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, will on Friday embark on a working visit to Akwa Ibom state to commemorate the 34th year anniversary of the state.

During the one-day working visit, the Vice President will commission several projects which include the Dakkada luxury estate located in Uran Local Government of the state.

This disclosure was made by the Delta State commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong. The commissioner announced that the visit and the inauguration of the projects are part of the activities to mark the anniversary of the state.

In his words: “On Friday, His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be in Akwa Ibom State to inaugurate the Dakkada estate. When he lands at the airport, he will make his first stop at the Dakkada luxury estate to flag it off.

“The Dakkada estate is designed to provide maximum affordable housing for the people.

“When he flags off the Dakkada luxury estate, he would move immediately to the central business district of Uyo where he will inaugurate the Dakkada Towers.

“It is a smart intelligent building fitted with the best communication and security gadgets. When he is done with that, his official visit to Akwa Ibom State would have come to an end.”
