The Ondo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Lucky Aiyedatiwa has cast his vote in the ongoing election.

Aiyedatiwa voted at polling unit 6 located in Ward 4, Obenla community in Ilaje Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo state.

The New Diplomat reports that Aiyedatiwa is facing a fierce battle with Ayoola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)and other 15 candidates in the ongoing election.

It would be recalled that Aiyedatiwa, who was the deputy governor to late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, took over the mantle of power after the demise of his principal on 27th December 2023.
