The governorship ambition of Lucky Aiyedatiwa might have suffered a fatal blow as some residents of Ondo State stoned and chased away members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who were canvassing for votes for the party ahead of the upcoming election.

In a widely circulated video, some residents of Ondo State expressed their grievances to supporters of the APC in the state.

The residents expressed their displeasure at the party’s ability to acquire sizable vehicles and other logistical arrangements for campaigning, in the face of prevailing economic adversities within the state and the nation at large.

This comes as Aiyedatiwa battle with Hon. Ajayi Agboola, the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the forthcoming November 16, 2024 governorship election in the State.
