The defection of Hon. Ajayi Agboola the deputy governor of Ondo state from the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) may have started leaving casualties in its wake.
The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, (SAN) has relieved Mr Allen Sowore of his appointment with immediate effect.

Until his sack, Sowore was a Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media attached to the Office of the Deputy Governor.
A statememt signed by the Governor’s Press Secretary, Oluwasegun Smart Ajiboye, directed Sowore to submit all government’s properties in his possession to the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
“The Governor wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavour,” a part of the statement noted.

Meanwhile, sources close to the Governemnt House, Akure, said that Sowore’s sack might not be unconnected with the defection of his immediate principal, Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi to the People’s Democratic Party.

Hon. Ajayi and Sowore hail from the same local government which is Ese Odo Local Government in Ondo state.
