At exactly 11.13am, the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege in company of his wife, emerged from their country home in Orogun, Delta Central to cast his vote at Ward Two, Unit 19.

The Governorship candidate who was optimistic of winning the election, expressed dissatisfaction with the rate of violence that reportedly erupted in some areas.

The Electoral exercise which was peaceful at his Ward, experienced irregularities in Ughelli South, Ewrueni and environs where there were reports of distruction and snatching of ballot boxes.

The Governorship candidate stated that there were reports of mischief by some PDP thugs who were trying to undermine the electoral process in Gbaramaturu and environs in Warri South local government area.

He also disclosed that Uvie local government area has been declared a war zone, all in the guise of elections.

The Deputy Senate President, however, appealed to his supporters to remain calm and protect their votes.
