The All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted 18 sub-committees ahead of its special convention/presidential primary scheduled to hold between June 6th and 8th.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Felix Morka unveiled the official list in a statement issued late Wednesday.

According to the list, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state is to chair the Accreditation and Decoration committee.

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is to chair a committee that will accredit Diplomats at the convention.

Also, the Governor of Gombe State, Inuwa Yahaya, will Chair the budget committee, while the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed would be the co-chair.

The New Diplomat reports that this follows the conclusion of the ruling party’s screening exercise for aspirants on Monday and Tuesday this week.

A total of 23 politicians were screened ahead of the presidential primary.
