Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has paid a condolence visit to elder-statesman and PANDEF leader, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark over the death of his younger brother, John Pepper Clark, eminent poet, foremost writer and literary icon of global repute.

DSP Omo-Agege who visited Papa Clark at his Abuja residence prayed for the repose of the soul of the late literary mogul, J.P. Clark whose excellent and world-class accomplishments in the arts and literature cut across genres  such as  poetry, playwrighting, novel, books, and academic lecturing.

While condoling Pa Clark who was a minister for Information during the Yakubu Gowon administration said , J. P. Clark-Bekederemo was a poet, playwright and author, of great feat.
