The immediate-past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has felicitated with a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, as he celebrates his 65th birthday anniversary on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Omo-Agege, the 2023 Governorship candidate of the the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, described Orubebe who was the director-general of his campaign council as an individual with impeccable integrity.

According to the Obarisi of the Urhobo nation, Orubebe will forever remain respectable for his commitment to the greater good of the people.

Omo-Agege in the statement issued on Thursday and made available to the New Diplomat prayed that God grants Orubebe long life and good health.

He said: “On behalf of my family and our good people, I send you warm greetings on today’s occasion of your birthday celebration.

“You are a leader who is genuinely loved by your people because of your total dedication to our best collective interests. Your deliberate bold efforts and indelible positive impact on the development of our people stand you out as our respectable leader.

“We will always appreciate you for your admirable firm commitment to our recent quest to bring best-in-class governance to our people. We ran a good race because of your wise counsel and guidance. Thank you indeed for wholeheartedly deploying your unique strengths as a political strategist and statesman to enrich us. Thank you for your calm, trusted and purposeful leadership. Thank you for your military loyalty to your convictions.

“We pray to God for a long and healthy life, joy unspeakable and many more years of dedication to the service of our beloved people as we continue to work together for the good of our people.”
