The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has applauded the leadership qualities of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Delta State, Prophet Jones Ode Erue on the occasion of his birthday.

In a special birthday message personally signed by Senator Omo-Agege, he praised the sense of purpose and direction of the Delta State APC Chairman which has enabled him in “piloting the affairs of the party in the right direction.”

Senator Omo-Agege said Prophet Ode Erue’s leadership ability displayed in nursing the APC as a fledgling, from scratch, to fully fledged party that can hold its own politically is an inspiration to everyone.

The leader of the APC caucus from the Niger-Delta stressed that he holds  Prophet Erue in high regard and cherish the warm personal relationship between them which has translated into warmth and unity in the party leadership and the rank and file.

He said, “your leadership in building our party from inception has been an inspiration to all of us. I highly appreciate our warm personal relationships, across the party leadership and membership. I am confident that you will continue to be a progressive politician who is committed to the Next Level Agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“I am also convinced that under your continuing leadership, our party will be further united and strengthened. We will be better repositioned for the challenges ahead and to the benefit of all party members. So let this day be the beginning of a new era of unity and greater achievements in our collective effort to free our State.

The Deputy Senate President wished Prophet Erue long and healthy life needed to work together towards achieving their shared vision of a greater Delta state

“We pray to God for your long and healthy life, happiness and many more years of dedicated service to our great party and state, as we all work together towards achieving our shared vision of a greater Delta State.

“Please accept my most cordial birthday greetings conveyed on behalf of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District and the assurances of my esteemed regards.”
