Immediate past Deputy President of the Nigerian Ninth Senate and Obarisi of Urhobo land, Senator Ovie Omo-Agegee has expressed sadness over the demise of Olorogun Austin Uloho, The Osio R’Igho of Ughelli Kingdom, Delta State.

The Senator in a condolence statement he personally signed, noted that, Uloho’s demise is a huge loss to the Urhobo Nation and Nigeria.

The statement reads, “I am saddened by the shocking news of the sudden passing of my respected elder brother and our leader, Olorogun Austin Uloho – The Osio R’Igho of Ughelli Kingdom. His exit is a huge loss to the Urhobo Nation, Delta State and our country.

“As our leader over the years, Chief Uloho led a great many of our people with courage in politics, business and other spheres of life. At critical moments when the faith of many waned in our political engineering of a better society for our people, Osio R’Igho stood firm, encouraging us with his exceptional wisdom in many ways, including the management of our revered traditional institutions and other critical stakeholders.

“What shall we then say at a moment as extraordinary as this? We have no authority to question God who made and gave us the great gift of Olorogun Uloho. Our testimony is that like his great father, he was equally great. Our people were blessed with his amazing life.

“On behalf of my family and our good people, I commiserate with Olorogun Uloho’s immediate and extended family. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all at this moment of mourning. We are with you.”
