Funeral rites for The Late National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, began on Thursday with a Day of Tributes and Service of Songs held at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The ceremony began at about 11am.

The New Diplomat had reported that Odumakin died on April 2, at the Critical Care Unit of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

The three-day funeral rites would be concluded on April 24, when the remains of Odumakin would be committed to Mother Earth in his country home in Moro, Ife North Local Government Area of Osun state.
