A self-acclaimed O’odua Activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, has disclosed the scheduled date and venue for the Yoruba Mega Rally in Lagos State.

Igboho has championed the call for the secession of the South West from Nigeria to establish the Oduduwa nation. According to Igboho and his co-agitators, the essence of the rally is to sensitizise the Yorubas on the need to support the call for secession. Several campaigns have been held in South Western states.

The New Diplomat had reported that the mega rally took off in Osun State and had since held in Ekiti, Ondo and Ogun States.

Meanwhile, the mega rally is now set to hold in Lagos State, the economic capital of Nigeria.

The spokesman to the activist, Olayomi Koiki, made this announcement on a live video session.

According to the spokesman, the rally is scheduled to hold on the 3rd of July, and the convergence point will be Ojota Park, Lagos State.

Speaking futher, Koiki also noted that the rally will be peaceful just like the other rallies that have held in Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, and Ogun State.

In his words, “We are sending a peaceful message to Governor Sanwo-Olu. We do not mind any other person who is saying we should not come to Lagos.

“Sanwo-Olu is the chief security officer of the land and we are coming to Lagos.

“July 3rd is the most important date; nobody can say we should not come to Lagos. It is a peaceful rally.

“We have gone to Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and we had peaceful rallies, so nobody can stop us from not coming to Lagos.”
