The governor stated this on Sunday at Urhokpota Hall, during his thank-you-visit at Oredo Local Government Area, Benin city.

Obaseki commended the council for keying into the ‘Keep Edo Clean Project’, noting that Oredo is the heart of the state and would be supported to attract more investments. He urged the council to be receptive to change, which has become necessary, given the current economic situation in the country.

He noted that the reconstruction of Benin Science and Technical College, will be ready by May 2018, and explained that several ongoing projects in Benin City will impact on the council positively.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Oredo, Godwin Alabi, welcomed the governor and thanked him for his several transformational programmes,  which impact are being felt within the city.
