The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said it supplied a total of 29.058 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol to thirteen Northern states in three days.

In its report on daily dispatch to filling stations made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday, it named the states to include Kaduna, Kogi, Kwara,Taraba, Kano and Benue

Others are Zamfara, Yobe, Sokoto, Jigawa, Borno, Bauchi and Adamawa.

According to the corporation, the supplies were made between February 12 and 14, 2018

À breakdown of the dispatches showed that Bauchi had the highest supply of 4.428 million liters of petrol, followed by Adamawa with 3.766 million litres and Kaduna with 3.565 million litres.

Yobe state got 3.295 million litres, Kogi 2.408 million, Benue 1.902 million litres, Borno 1.843 million litres and Kwara 1.508 million litres.

It further noted that Kano got 1.66 million litres, Taraba 2.42 million litres , while Jigawa got 0.919 million litres and Sokoto got 0.799 million.

It assured that the corporation would continue to ensure adequate supply of the product across the state.
