The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and his group have overwhelmed the security blockage at the border between Enugu and Ebonyi and made their way into Ebonyi state.
It was gathered that Kanu and his group spent a long time at the Ebonyi border negotiating with a combined team of military personnel and police officers before they bulldozing their way into the state.
The IPOB leader who stormed the state in a convoy of over 50 cars and buses is currently meeting with IPOB members, supporters and sympathizers at Ezzamgbo Junction ,about 10 kilometers away from Abakaliki ,the Ebonyi state capital.
It is not immediately clear if Kanu will still proceed to the state capital after meeting with his followers in Ezzamgbo.
