A tweet deleted by the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi where he addressed Tinubu as Mr President has continued to stir reactions among Nigerians who took to their comment section to bombard Obi and his followers.

It would be recalled that Mr. Obi in a tweet addressing Tinubu’s motorcade incident had referred to him as Mr President.

The tweet did not gain traction until it was taken down and a notification from Twitter indicated that the tweet was deleted by one of his tweeps.

Bashir Ahmad, former aide to the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari, in a tweet on Saturday said, “That was so low. I honestly pity Peter, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party; so he no longer has control over himself or an opinion of himself. How can you delete a well-composed tweet calling your president Mr. President just because some people claiming to be your supporters bullied and dragged you?”

Reno Omokri, ex-aide to former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, tweeted, “How can you tweet and call Bola Tinubu the President and then delete the same tweet. Where do you stand? Is there an internal battle between your conscience and your ego? This is the same man whose supporters wanted to crucify a better candidate for deleting a tweet. You see. When you point one finger, four point back at you!”

He had to lie that he has not seen the video just to make point out of it and how can you coment on what you haven’t see? What of it’s a lie is that how you will just take the bait which is what actually happened.
He could have reserved his comment until he sees the video

Eei God oo 😂 😆😂. Obedients said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not their president but their lord and personal savior Linus Pandora has acknowledged him as Mr. President.

Yours faithfully,

I never like Peter obi right from onset since i discovered he was deploying divide and rule tactics.

A man who doesn’t think before he tweets has no business leading over 200m people. Certainly, a man controlled by the mob has no business in Aso Rock. The Twitter President is a coward. He lacks courage.

Kyle Auto
Is there a law on Twitter that prohibit one from deleting his tweet ?
