The controversy over alleged forgery of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate by Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun may not disappear anytime soon.
This is as an allegedly photoshopped photo of the minister in NYSC uniform has rent the social media air with Nigerians reacting to the certificate saga.
The New Diplomat Saturday reported the President of Centre for Anti-corruption and Open Leadership (CACOL), Debo Adeniran called for the thorough investigation of the allegation against the Minister, asking President Muhammadu Buhari not to spare her.
However, as at the time of filing this report, the Finance Minister, presidency and the NYSC have all kept mum on allegation despite the many reactions it has elicited among Nigerians.
Reactions:
Whoever was stupid enough to conjure up this terrible photoshopped picture in an attempt to cover up Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun's shameless malfeasance has just compounded her problems.
Not only must she be removed as a Minister but she must also be prosecuted for forgery. pic.twitter.com/PzVdakrZZh

APC are experts in forgery. Tinubu was accused of forged certificate by late Gani Fawemi, Buhari was accused of having no certificate and now Kemi is being accused of forging her NYSC pass out certificate. No wonder their government is a forged regime.

Is it not a failure on both parties that we cleared a woman who did not go through NYSC and forged documents. If she has to resign then everyone who cleared her when they knew something was not alright should do the honourably thing and resign too
