Nigerian singer and songwriter,  better known by his stage name, Mr Eazi in partnership with Decagon organisers of Nigeria’s top software engineering training programme, invite applications from aspiring young Nigerians to help them actualise their dream of becoming software engineers.

Mr Eazi discosed that he will serve as a sponsor for 5 residents or indigenes of Ogun State to attend Decagon.

Decagon recently opened applications for its 6-month training programme which includes accommodation, feeding, laptop, internet and a monthly stipend, followed by an immediate job placement into companies like Access Bank, Sterling Bank and Etranzact after graduating.

Interested applicants should click here to Apply: http://applications.decagonhq.com
Application closes on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Applicants should note that this call doesn’t require any payment of fees until the trainees have graduated and started working and earning salaries.

Successful applicants are required to have a credible guarantor in order to access the Pay-Later model and this has proven difficult for some otherwise successful applicants in the past. It is due to this challenge that Mr Eazi has decided to step in and guarantee 5 lucky ones from Ogun State, by residence or origin.

Decagon Institute has developed a platform that allows talented individuals to get software engineering skills without going through the hassles of funding the process themselves.

Founded and funded by Chika Nwobi who has been involved in the tech ecosystem for two decades, most of which were spent investing and accelerating ventures and startups, the initiative seeks to resolve Nigeria’s under-representation on the global scene and build a sustainable system for people to launch their digital careers.
