Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire has received samples of Covid-19 vaccine produced by Russia.

Ehanire received the samples on Friday from Russian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Alexey L. Shebarshin in Abuja.

Ehanire also expressed Nigeria’s interest for the Russia COVID-19 Vaccine to help in treating Coronavirus patients in the country.

Disclosing on Twitter, Ehanire wrote: “We are exploring all knowledge in terms of therapeutics and vaccines.

“We are expressing our interest for the COVID-19 vaccine so that we will have the opportunity to work elaborately.”

According to Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib, in his remark, the opportunity would help to strengthen the collaboration between Russian and Nigeria.
