President Muhammadu Buhari created a controversial scene when he displayed his ballot paper after voting in Daura, Katsina state.

The act of the President was contrary to the Electoral law which stipulates that the election is a secret ballot.

Political observers believed that Buhari was only trying to prove his unquestionable commitment and total support for his preferred presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The President who was cheered by the huge supporters of party men, spoke to his people in the native language.
