*  News media launches Investigations

Frontline writer for The New Yorker and analyst on legal matters for CNN, Jeffrey Toobin has been put on indefinite suspension  by the news media organization while it investigates an alleged  nude incident that happened, exposing his genitals during a zoom call recently.

According to agency reports, Toobin left his genitals terribly exposed while participating in a Zoom call  with his  colleagues at The New Yorker  and a radio station last week. The incident was said to have left the popular analysts seriously embarrassed .

And following the terrific incident with troubling impact, Toobin  had also on Monday abjectly apologized in a statement to Vice, the organization which was the first to report the trending story.

“I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera. I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers,” he said in a statement.

He added: “I believed I was not visible on Zoom. I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video.”

According agency reports,  a spokeswoman  for The New Yorker confirmed Toobin’s suspension to saying that the incident is already being investigated.

Similarly, CNN also confirmed that one of  its legal analysts,  Toobin has taken time off to rest. “Jeff Toobin has asked for some time off while he deals with a personal issue, which we have granted,” the cable news network declared in a statement earlier this week .

Recall that Toobin had thought that both the video and audio  buttons of his computer were  switched off while he was on a Zoom call with his colleagues at The New Yorker and a radio station. However, unknown to him, they were not, leaving his nude genitals exposed in the process.

Recall that Jeffrey Toobin, 60, has been a regular and consistent participant  on CNN legal and policy analysis. He also reports for The New Yorker.

An author of several books, including “True Crimes and Misdemeanors: The Investigation of Donald Trump,” Toobin  is a frequent commentator of national and global issues.

Recall also that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people including millions of workers across the world have been compelled to work more from home using from zoom.  Toobin’s case is one of the many growing incidents of nudity associated with working home via video phone conversations.
