The National Assembly will no longer reconvene on Tuesday, August 14.

This was revealed to sources on Monday by a source at the legislature who asked not to be named.

This lates information runs contrary to the announcement by Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr Yusuf Lasun, who said last week the Senate would reconvene on Tuesday to consider the budget for the 2019 polls and other pending issues forwarded to lawmakers by President Muhammadu Buhari in July.
