The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today officially launched the Kaduna chapter of Barracks Youths Empowerment Through Agriculture (BYETA) programme. A total of 98 youths have registered for the scheme since its inception about a month ago with interests in fishery, poultry, livestock and crop farming.

The Chapter, before the launching, had registered as a cooperative society – ‘NAF Base Agriculture Cooperative’ – to enable it take advantage of a number of opportunities provided at the State and Federal levels to boost agriculture.

This is with a view to better the lots of its members through access to training, loan and other facilities. The Chief of Policy and Plans, AVM James Gbum represented the Chief of the Air Staff at the occasion.
