Nigeria’s leading video entertainment company, MultiChoice, has added yet another feather to its cap by clinching the ‘Outstanding Satellite TV brand of the Year’ at the recently concluded Marketing Edge Brands and Advertising Excellence Awards, 2017, which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, recently.

Receiving the award on behalf of MultiChoice Nigeria, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Martin Mabutho, thanked the organizers of the award, saying it was an honour to be recognized in that category.

“We are indeed honoured to have won the Outstanding Satellite TV Brand of the Year. We also want to use this opportunity to reiterate MultiChoice’s commitment to providing peerless and world-class entertainment services to our customers across the country. Customers remain the epicentre of our business and we will continue to give them value for money,” said Mabutho.

Speaking at the event, John Ajayi, Publisher/CEO, Marketing Edge Magazine, said MultiChoice clinched the award due to its consistency in delivering on its brand promise and high quality of service enjoyed by its customers.

“The Marketing Edge Outstanding Satellite TV Brand of the Year presented to MultiChoiceNigeriais in recognition of the brand’s market leadership and uncompromising value adding services to its customers over the years. It has delivered consistently on its brand promise, essence and value since it debuted in the Nigerian pay TV market. It has regularly and consistently driven innovative offerings that offer rich consumer experience and satisfaction for its subscribers,” said Ajayi.

The Marketing Edge Brands and Advertising Excellence Award provides a unique platform for robust intellectual engagement as well as honouring practitioners for their commitment to excellence in the field of branding and marketing.
