Football fans have set twitter agog after Manchester United staged an excellent 3-1 comeback in the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur. It is Jose Mourinho’s 10th Premier League loss in a single season — the first in his coaching career.

Announcing this after the match @ESPN tweeted: Jose Mourinho has lost 10 Premier League games in a single season for the first time in his career. https://t.co/DPoWcljjHK.”

Mixed reactions however trailed the tweet as some fans faulted the management of spurs for this.

Read fans reaction:

Spurs is not a club that invest in player pls you guys should leave Jose out of this, they want him to cook good soup without ingredients.@flowerzone7

Mou is washed, take him back to Portugal…@jacksonmukunda

He was very proud of himself, they humbled him. I remember his interview when he told journalists that he is the best of all the premier league managers combined ’cause he won the league 3 times @Augustin_IM

He will be sacked at the end of the season, he can’t even take Tottenham to Europa.Respect him so much, but I think he’s on his twilight of his career. He should consider another path. Or maybe, a national team coach.@chickenskin15

The match had Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side bounce back from first half controversy, scoring through Fred, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood, after Son Heung-Min opened the scoring for Spurs.

That Son goal came minutes after Cavani had seen an effort ruled out for an apparent foul by Scott McTominay. But United picked themselves off the “grass” and deservedly came out winners in the end.

The win was well deserved in the end for United, who gained revenge for their 6-1 defeat by Jose Mourinhos’ side earlier in the campaign.

The three points for United leave them 11 points away from leaders, Man City, but also boost their chances of sealing second place in the Premier League after Leicester lost to West Ham earlier in the day.
