10 more abducted students of the Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna State, have regained freedom after spending 83 days in the bandits’ den.

This development was confirmed by the Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. John Joseph Hayab.

The Vice President in a terse statement disclosed that the 10 students were released on Sunday, adding that there are still 11 students in the bandits’ captivity out there in the wild.

“Ten more students of Baptist High School were released this afternoon. We have 11 now with bandits.

“We are thanking all Nigerians for their prayers and support.

“We are trusting God that the rest will be released very soon. All have been reunited with their parents,” the statement said.

Recall that on July 5, 2021, some armed bandits had invaded the school located some few kilometers from Kaduna metropolis and abducted 121 students.

Since the abduction, the bandits have been releasing the students in batches. The first set of the students(28) were freed on July 25, 2021.
