Following the controversies surrounding the sudden death of ex-naira Marley signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as MohBad, the senator representing Delta North senatorial District, Ned Nwoko, said Tuesday, he would initiate a bill for mandatory autopsy to be carried out before anyone with a suspicious case like Mohbad can be buried.

The senator lamented how Mohbad was hurriedly buried without ascertaining the cause of his death and different speculations from the general public on how he died .

Ned in a tweet, said “The unfortunate and untimely death of Mohbad has raised many issues that should be addressed promptly.

He further said that, “The circumstances of his death and the cause of death should not be left to speculations.

“The police and the DSS should wade in immediately but more importantly the state government should order for an autopsy report without further formalities.

“This should have been done and reported to the station for clearance before he was buried.

“As a matter of fact I hope to introduce a bill that will make it mandatory nationwide for an autopsy to be done within a specific time before anyone is buried and the cost of such reports must be paid by the governments (Local governments and states).

“The cause of death of anyone should not be left to the wild imaginations of people. The innocent should be protected and the guilty punished. Situations like these give rise to new laws for the good governance of the country.”

It would be recalled that the singer passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the age of 27.

Before his death, Mohbad’s colleague, Bella Shmurda had recounted how he almost committed suic!de.

Bella spoke at length about, Mohbad’s issues with his record label, Marlians, which is owned by Naira Marley, and how his girlfriend saved him from suicide.

Bella further slammed Naira Marley and his label for pretending that all was well between Mohbad and the management.
