With just mere few days to the general elections, the Minister of Works and Housing, Raji Babatunde Fashola (SAN) has dismissed different polls that scored the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi high among other candidates just as he assured victory for the All Progressives Congress APC flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The minister who made this declaration in an interview with a Channels TV station on Monday, said that there was no statistical empirical evidence in the polls conducted by the firms brandishing the LP presidential candidate as winner of the presidential election.

The former Lagos State Governor stated that Tinubu has the capacity, competence and charisma to win the presidential election.

Fashola said that the APC presidential candidate has demonstrated competence on what he, Tinubu did in Lagos as Governor of the state, adding that the APC presidential candidate brought so many reforms in Lagos which other states now copy.

“Tinubu has brain. He formulated so much policies which have replicated in several states. He started recruitment of traffic managers otherwise known as LASTMA to manage the traffic gridlock in Lagos. Today almost every state in Nigeria have done so. How to boost IGR in the state, is the brain behind it. I can go on and on,” he said.

The minister also said that the APC presidential candidate may look frail, walking as though he’s going to fall, ” but he’s very strong. He has visited every nooks and crannies in Nigeria. Yet, the opposition complained of his health.”
He assured that Tinubu is mentally alert as he has almost every record at the tip of his fingers.

Against this backdrop, the minister assured that the APC presidential candidate will win the presidential election slated this February.
